The visit to the capital of Lima will begin in the morning, with a personalized guide and transportation picking you up for a panoramic tour of the main streets of Colonial and Modern Lima, located in the center of Lima, including a visit to the Cathedral, the Archbishopric and the Government Palace. Finally, you will visit the Convent of San Francisco and the Catacombs.
After enjoying a wonderful day in the capital of Peru, you will need a well-deserved rest, so you can relax and fill yourself with energy, before your flight to the city of Cusco in the morning.
This morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Lima for your flight to the city of Cusco. The flight lasts between 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes. the expert local guide will be waiting for you at Cusco airport, to be transferred to your luxury hotel, located in the city center. In the afternoon you will have a Walking Tour in the city, you will visit the Cathedral or Basilica of Cusco, then you will visit the Temple of the Sun “Qoricancha”, finally the last visit will be to the oldest local market in the city “San Pedro”. After this acclimatization, you will be taken to your hotel for your respective rest.
After having enjoyed a delicious breakfast at your hotel, the transportation and the expert personalized local guide will pick you up to begin the tour, you will head along the route of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, during the journey you will be able to appreciate the beautiful snow-capped mountains in the mountains and the towns that are along the way.
The first visit will be the archaeological site of Chinchero and the visit to a typical craft center, where you will be able to appreciate the demonstration and the process of weaving in a natural way, then you will visit the archaeological site of circular agricultural platforms that is Moray, which have a temperate and dry climate and are surrounded by mountains and beautiful farming landscapes.
You will visit the salt mines, where you can appreciate the natural emergence of salt from an underground mountain that is collected and solidified in wells dug by locals. The natural color of each well makes the place admirable. You will also visit the town and its artisan market. In the afternoon, the guide will take you to a restaurant with a beautiful view located in the Sacred Valley, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. At the end of the tour, the expert local guide will escort you back to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.
Early in the morning, the expert local guide and transportation will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Ollanta station to board the Vistadome train. During the journey, you will enjoy the landscape and enter the cloud forest, accompanied by the Vilcanota River, which will follow you throughout the route until you reach KM. 104, the starting point for the Inca Trail.
You will travel through part of the Inca trails, discover archaeological sites along the majestic route, and, above all, enjoy the exceptional view of Machu Picchu Sanctuary from the Sun Gate, with an expert local guide to assist you throughout the journey. In the afternoon, you will descend by bus to the town of Machu Picchu, where you will settle into your luxury hotel. You will have free time to visit the small town.
Early in the morning, your personalized the expert local guide will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the bus station so you can board the bus. During the route, you will experience going up a zigzag path surrounded by beautiful vegetation and with an exceptional view of all the mountains until you reach the control gate. Continuing the tour, you will visit the archaeological site of Qenqo, a place that served as a ceremonial worship site, especially important for Andean culture. Next, you will visit the archaeological site of Pukapukara and finally Tambomachay, which was a water worship temple.
