ITINERARY

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN THE CITY OF CUSCO. TRANSFER FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL IN CUSCO.

Go to the exit door where our ATIKA staff will be waiting for you with a sign indicating your name, they will drive you in a private transport directly to your hotel located in the center of the city of Cusco; since you will need a break and above all to acclimatize so that you can continue with the tours that have been prepared with great care for you.

DAY 02: WALK IN THE HISTORICAL HELMET OF THE CITY OF CUSCO. SAN CRISTOBAL VIEWPOINT – SAN BLAS – CENTER OF ANCESTRAL MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS.

This day in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel to start the tour, transportation with our personalized guide will be waiting for you. The first visit will be at the Mirador del Templo de San Cristobal, from there you will have a beautiful view of the city of Cusco, you will be able to appreciate the Inca and Colonial constructions, then you will cross important streets with Inca bases all the way until you reach the neighborhood of San Blas, also known as the «neighborhood of the Cusqueños Artisans», we will visit the Temple of San Blas, which was one of the five temples that served to catholicize the indigenous people. Then they will visit a musical center of ancestral instruments from the pre-Inca and Inca times. Finally, in the afternoon you will have a delicious lunch in a highly recommended restaurant. In the afternoon you will have to rest at your hotel to recover your energy for the next day.

DAY 03: EXPLORING THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS. SACSAYHUAMAN – TEXTILE CENTER – PISAC RUINS.

The guide and personalized transportation will stop by your hotel to pick you up and start the tour of the Sacred Valley. The first visit will be the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, a truly admirable site for the megalithic walls, one of the most impressive works during the Inca heyday, during the journey you will be able to appreciate the beautiful snow-capped mountains and the towns that are along the way. DAY 04: TRIP TO MACHU PICCHU. OLLANTAYTAMBO - ENJOY THE TRAIN WITH A PANORAMIC VIEW.

The guide will stop by your hotel in the morning to continue exploring the Sacred Valley, and visit an archaeological site in Ollantaytambo accompanied by a personalized guide who will provide you with all the information about this very important place, at the end of the tour you will take the train from the station to the town of Machu Picchu, during the trip you will be able to appreciate the landscape and the entrance to the edge of the jungle, the Vilcanota River that will accompany you throughout the route to the town of Machu Picchu, the view of a part of the Inca Trail and the beautiful terraces that decorate the entire landscape. DAY 05: THE INCA CITADEL OF MACHU PICCHU. VISIT THE SANCTUARY OF MACHU PICCHU.

The big day has arrived The visit to the Inca citadel!!!! In the morning the guide will pick you up at the hotel to drive you to the bus station, you will travel through a path surrounded by beautiful nature until you reach the top. They will carry out the pertinent controls and thus they will have the entrance to the lost city of the Incas, the personalized guide will accompany them throughout the visit to the Sanctuary, and they will be able to have a beautiful view of the Mountains surrounding it. After the tour, they will go to take the bus down to the town, then they will have a delicious lunch, in the afternoon they will take the return train, will travel the same route again observing the beautiful landscape and the services on board that the train has, your arrival will be at the Poroy Station, the transport will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel in the city of Cusco for a well-deserved rest.

DAY 06: MOST OUTSTANDING RELIGIOUS PLACES INCA AND COLONIAL. CATHEDRAL – TEMPLE OF THE SUN “QORICANCHA”.

In the afternoon the personalized guide will stop by your hotel to pick you up and drive you to the first place to visit, which is the Cathedral of Cusco, an important place for having a lot of Inca and Colonial history, it houses many paintings by Indigenous artists, then they will visit the Temple of the Sun «Qoricancha», which was an important place in the Inca era that has three constructions, pre-Inca, Inca and Colonial. DAY 07: RETURN TO LIMA AND BACK HOME.
