The visit to the capital city of Lima will begin in the morning, where your personalized guide and transportation will pick you up for a panoramic tour of the main streets of Colonial and Modern Lima located in the city center. The tour will include visits to the Cathedral, Archbishop’s Palace, Government Palace, and finally, the Convent of San Francisco and its Catacombs.

On this day, we will pick you up from your Lima hotel in the morning for your flight to Cusco. The flight takes 45 minutes to an hour. Your guide will be waiting for you at the Cusco airport, and you will head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. During the journey, you can appreciate the beautiful snow-capped mountains and villages along the way. We will visit a typical artisan center where you can see the demonstration and natural process of weaving and raising of camelids. You will have lunch at a restaurant with a view of the Sacred Valley, prepared with typical ingredients of the area and the warm attention of the hosts. Next, you will visit the Pisac ruins, which impressively stand out at the entrance, surrounded by its beautiful terraces. You will also visit the Pisac craft market and the central square. In the afternoon, we will install you in your Sacred Valley hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning to continue exploring the Sacred Valley. We will visit the Ollantaytambo archaeological site, a ceremonial place decorated with resistance terraces. It was also known as a food storage place during the Inca era. Next, we will visit Moray, which is composed of circular agricultural terraces, has a temperate and dry climate, and is surrounded by mountains and beautiful agricultural landscapes. At noon, we will have lunch with a local family in the town of Maras, where you can enjoy typical cuisine prepared with local ingredients. In the afternoon, we will visit the salt mines, a place where you can appreciate the natural salt coming out of an underground mountain. The locals dig wells to retain the liquid salt until it solidifies, and the natural color of each well makes the place admired. At the end of the tour, your guide will escort you back to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.

In the morning, your guide and transportation will pick you up and drive you to the Ollanta station to take the Vistadome train with a panoramic view. You will enjoy the scenery and the entrance to the jungle eyebrow, the Vilcanota River that will accompany you throughout the route to the town of Machu Picchu, the view of a section of the Inca Trail, and the beautiful terraces that decorate the landscape. The guide will assist you during the entire tour. Upon arrival, you will have lunch at one of the restaurants with a view of the Vilcanota River. You will take the bus up to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary and have a tour of the Inca Citadel. After the tour, you will take the bus down to the town and be escorted to your luxury hotel by your personalized guide.
