After retrieving your luggage, head to the exit gate where our ATIKA staff will be waiting for you with a sign displaying your name. They will escort you to a private transport directly to your hotel. After a long journey, you will need a well-deserved rest to relax and recharge your energy before your afternoon tour.
Following your lunch, the guide and private transport will pick you up from your hotel to start the City Tour.

The first visit will be to «Qoricancha,» the Temple of the Sun, which was one of the most important temples during the Inca period and is currently inhabited by the Dominican Order. We will then head to the outskirts of the city to visit the famous four ruins, including one of the most impressive fortresses of the Inca culture, «Sacsayhuaman,» known for its zigzagging construction with gigantic rocks. We will also visit «Qenqo,» a ceremonial site, and finally, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. The transport and guide will then bring you back to your hotel.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your hotel, your personalized guide and transportation will pick you up to begin the tour. You will head towards the route of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where you can appreciate the beautiful snow-capped mountains and the towns that you will encounter along the way.

The first visit will be to the archaeological site of Chinchero and a typical artisan center, where you can appreciate the demonstration and process of natural weaving. Next, you will visit the archaeological site of circular agricultural terraces called Moray, which has a temperate and dry climate, is surrounded by mountains, and has beautiful farming landscapes. You will also visit the salt mines, where you can appreciate the natural emergence of salt from an underground mountain.

The locals dig wells to retain the liquid salt until it solidifies, and the natural color of each well makes the place admirable. You will be taken to a restaurant located in the Sacred Valley for a delicious buffet lunch, and the last visit of the day will be to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, one of the most important places on the tour. You can appreciate its temples, impressive architecture, and each important site in a strategic location. At the end of the tour, your guide will escort you back to your hotel for a well-deserved rest

In the morning, your guide and transportation will pick you up to take you to the Ollanta station, where you will take the Vistadome train with a panoramic view. This way, you can enjoy the landscape and the entrance to the cloud forest, the Vilcanota River that will accompany you throughout the route to the town of Machu Picchu, the view of a part of the Inca Trail, and the beautiful terraces that decorate the entire landscape. Your guide will be there to assist you throughout the tour.

Upon arrival, you will have lunch at one of the best restaurants, and in the afternoon, you will have another experience exploring the small town. At night, you will stay at one of the luxury hotels in the town of Machu Picchu.

Early in the morning, your personalized guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the bus station, so that after the controls you can board the bus. During the journey, you will experience climbing up a zigzag path surrounded by beautiful vegetation and an exceptional view of all the mountains until you reach the control gate. You will have a tour of the citadel of Machu Picchu.

After the tour, you will take the bus down to the town and then have lunch at a highly recommended restaurant. In the afternoon, you will take the return train to the Poroy station. Upon your arrival, an Atika host will meet you and take you to the transportation to transfer you to the city of Cusco and to your luxury hotel so you can have a well-deserved rest.
